Dr Raphael Viscarra Rossel

Dr Viscarra Rossel specialises in the development of new measurement and modelling of soil in space and time to meet the soil information needs of government, industry, researchers and the community. He has helped to co-ordinate and advance CSIRO’s and Australia’s capabilities in soil sensing, spectroscopy, geostatistical analysis, digital soil mapping and modelling.
